Kenneth Earl Moore, 219 Holly Road, Goldsboro, died Monday in Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Rosewood First Baptist Church, 562 N.C. 581 South.
There will be a time of sharing with the family an hour prior to the service in the Braswell Hall of the Family Life Center.
Committal service will follow at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, U.S. 70 West, Goldsboro.
The Rev. Dr. Michael Collier and the Rev. Vernon Braswell will officiate.
Surviving is his wife of 39 years, Geraldine Grainger Moore; daughters, Donna Moore Paschall (Sam) of Raleigh, Susan Moore Scott of Goldsboro and Elizabeth Ann "Beth" Mays of Goldsboro, Glenda King (Earl) of North Topsail Beach and Kay Ludlum of Dudley; a son, Greg Ludlum (Zondrea) of North Topsail Beach, 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Moore graduated from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill in 1951 and later earned a Doctorate of Pharmacy in June 1984.
During his professional career he worked in Selma, LaGrange, Kinston and Goldsboro.
He was a member of Rosewood Baptist Church and served his country in the U.S. Army.
A native of Johnston County, he was preceded in death by his parents, Virgie McCall Moore and William Lawrence Moore; a daughter, Sandra Williams; and sisters, Audrey Stone and Doris Johnson.
