Deacon Thaddeus Swindell Best Sr., 87, died Tuesday morning at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Greenleaf Christian Church.
The burial will be in the Best family cemetery on Tommy's Road.
The visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday at Greenleaf Christian Church.
He was born on Nov. 28, 1927, in Wayne County to John William Best and Clara Fields Best.
He is survived by his wife, Helen Dixon Best, of the home and his children.
Arrangements are by J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations.
