Lessie Lee "Sister" Townsend, 73, died Saturday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Funeral will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Greenleaf Christian Church Disciples of Christ. Burial will be at Old Mill Cemetery.
She was born in Wayne County April 11, 1941, to the late Oliver Sylvester and Annie Rouse Townsend.
She is survived by a son and daughter.
Visitation will be tonight 4 to 7 at Howell Funeral Home .
