Lee Edward Eure, 84, 444 E. Hillsboro St., Mount Olive, died Friday at Genesis Healthcare Mount Olive Center.
Funeral will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Mount Gilead Missionary Baptist, with apostle Frank M. Dawson officiating. Burial with military honors will be at Wayne Memorial Park.
He was born in Gates County May 9, 1930, to Ruben Henderson and Lillie Chaney Eure. He was married to Dessie Shirley Eure.
He is survived by his children.
Visitation will be Thursday from 3 to 7 p.m. at Garris Funeral Home chapel and an hour prior to funeral at the church Friday.
The family will receive friends at the home.
