Lillie Mae Artis, 95, Goldsboro, N.C., died at her home Jan. 22, 2015, in the north end section of Goldsboro, N.C.
She was an original member of Woods Grove Baptist Church, and a current member of St. James Holiness Church in Stantonsburg, N.C.
Lillie was born Feb. 19, 1919, to Wright and Nettie Hines Frazier in the Central Heights section of Wayne County.
Homegoing service was at St. James Holiness Church in Stantonsburg, N.C., at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 26, 2015. Interment was at Old Mill Cemetery on Central Heights Road.
Calling hours were at Hamilton Funeral Chapel, 423 S. James St., from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 25, 2015.
She is survived by her husband, Larry of the home; a son; two daughters-in-law; a number of grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews; and an extended family of caretakers from the Goldsboro area.
