DEACON EDWARD AARON DAVIS

Deacon Edward Aaron Davis, 64, of 1120 Old Mount Olive Highway, Dudley, passed from labor to reward Sunday in the Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
He was born May 30, 1950 in Wayne County to Edward M. and Mary E. Jarmon Davis.
The triumphant homegoing celebration will be held Saturday at 11a.m. at the Original Tabernacle of Prayer.
His mortal frame will be laid to rest in the Jerusalem FWB Church Cemetery, Seven Springs, with military honors.
Loving and precious memories are cherished by his devoted wife, Mary Baker Davis, of the home; his children, James Warren of LaGrange, Beverly (Dwight) Smith, Charity (Elroy) McMillon, of Dudley, Angel (Alonzo) Modlin of Goldsboro; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; his siblings Jimmy (Mary) Davis, Seth (Wanda) Davis, Artis (Ella) Davis, Emmanuel (Sandra) Davis, Jarvis (Quincia) Davis, Truemellow (Leonard) Parks and Sandra (Thomas) Ashford; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
There will be a visitation held on Friday from 2 until 6 p.m. at the Haskins Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends at the residence where they will assemble in preparation for the funeral procession.
