PIKEVILLE -- Susan May Raper, 67, of Big Daddy's Road passed away Friday morning, Dec. 12, 2014, at Wayne Memorial Hospital surrounded by her family.
All services will be held at a later date.
Mrs. Raper was born in Greene County on Aug. 25, 1947.
She is survived by her husband, Edward Earl Raper; one son, Edward Alexander Raper and wife, Laura of Fremont; two daughters, Selena Beaman and husband, Greg of Wilson and Donna Raper of Saulston; four brothers, Travis Russell May and wife, Shirley of Apex, Kenneth May and wife, Diane of Smithfield, Thomas May and wife, Brenda of Black Creek and James May and companion, Richard of Oxford; one sister, Peggy Uzzell and husband, David of Goldsboro; three grandchildren with one on the way; and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Florence Peele May.
The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
