LINWOOD E. GREGORY

Linwood Earl Gregory, 42, Goldsboro, passed away at his residence Saturday morning.
He was the son of Kinda Martin Carver and husband, James Carver, of Red Springs and Charles Gregory and wife, Brenda, of Goldsboro, and was the husband of Julie McCullen Gregory.
He was a loving father to his daughter, and loved drag racing.
A funeral service will be held Monday in the chapel of Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home, with the Rev. Gene Waters officiating. Burial will follow in McCullen family cemetery.
The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
In addition to his wife, Linwood is survived by a daughter, Kinda Leana Gregory; mother-in-law, Maureen McCullen and friend, Jerry Mozingo, of Grantham; a sister, Nancy Callentine of Seven Springs; a stepbrother, Mark Carver of Raeford; a stepsister, Teresa Carver of Red Springs; four nephews, Chris Callentine and Bobby Hinnant, Tristan Jacobs and Chris Carver; three nieces, Gracie Hinnant and Brooke Martin and Hillary Carver; and friend, Mike Harrell and wife, Mary, of Nahunta.
He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Willie Earl McCullen.
