Charles Warwick, 78, Whiteville, and formerly of Lumberton, went to be with the Lord Saturday, July 19, 2014, at Lower Cape Fear Hospice and Lifecare Center in Whiteville.
Final rites will be held 7 p.m. Tuesday at Worthington Funeral Home, with the Rev. Allen Strickland and the Rev. Carroll Fonvielle officiating. Interment will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Meadowbrook Cemetery in Lumberton, with the Rev. Ray Yow officiating.
He was the son of the late Henry and Sally Holmes Warwick.
He was also preceded in death by a son, Kent Yarbrough, and two siblings, Clyde Warwick and Viola Furtado.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Joyce Sellers Yarbrough-Warwick of the home; sons, William Charles Warwick, Robert Warwick and the Rev. Michel Warwick all of Lumberton and Timothy Yarbrough of Goldsboro; and a sister, Myrtle Evans of Shannon.
The family will receive friends 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday (two hours prior to the service) at Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn.
