Preston McNeill, 70, 3605 Central Heights Road, departed this walk of life Tuesday evening, July 8, 2014, at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 12, 2014, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Howell Funeral Home in Goldsboro. Burial will follow at Jerusalem Church Cemetery in Seven Springs.
Mr. McNeill was born in Robeson County May 12, 1944, to the late Broadhurst and Agnes Mitchell McNeill.
He is survived by his loving wife, Phyllis McNeill; a daughter, Carol Gerald of Lumberton; several grandchildren; mother-in-law, Irene D. Sutton of Goldsboro; special aunt, Valorie Moore of Lumberton; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Viewing will be held Friday, July 11, 2014, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro, with the family present from 6 to 7 p.m.
