Ronald James "Ronnie" Meyer, 57, died Tuesday.
Funeral will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Rouse Funeral Home, with pastor Allen Stocks officiating. Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery.
He was born June 29, 1956, in Fort Meade, Md., to Mary Lloyd Sutton Meyer of Kinston and the late Charles Emerson Meyer.
He is survived by a son.
Visitation will be Friday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Rouse Funeral Home, and at other times, the family will be at the home.
Arrangements are by Rouse Funeral Home of LaGrange.
