WADE BARROW

Mr. Judson Wade Barrow, 75, Snow Hill, went to be with his Lord and savior Sunday, May 18, 2014, surrounded by his family at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro.
Born in Wayne County Jan. 30, 1939, he was the son of the late Rodell and Emma Thomas Barrow.
Following graduation from Snow Hill High School in 1957, Wade began farming, and enjoyed it until his retirement.
He was an avid sports fan, and cherished time spent with his family and friends.
Wade was a member of Free Gospel Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church, and a retired member of Shine Volunteer Fire Department.
Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 20, at Free Gospel Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church, with the Rev. Danny Hamm officiating. Committal services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 21, at Snow Hill Cemetery.
In addition to his parents, Wade was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Janice Jones Barrow, and siblings, James Barrow, Jessie B. Ham, Marie B. Perry, Ruby B. Daniels, Robert "Bud" Barrow and Gladys B. Wells.
His surviving family includes his wife of 52 years, Lou Ellen Moore Barrow; children, Tony Barrow of Snow Hill, Michael Barrow of Pikeville and Sonya Barrow Whitehead and husband, Chris, of Mebane; grandchildren, Courtney Barrow, Eric Barrow, Reiss Barrow, Dawson Barrow, Savannah Talbert and Brittany Talbert; sisters, Margaret B. Sutton, Rosetta B. Smith and husband, Carson, and Sylvia Ann B. Davis all of Goldsboro; a brother, Oscar Mooring and wife, Linda, of Pikeville; a sister-in-law, Nannie Mae Barrow of Snow Hill; brother-in-law, Sam Perry of Goldsboro; and several special nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service Tuesday evening and other times at the Barrow residence, 774 Shine Road, Snow Hill.
