GLENDA GAIL UZZELL

Glenda Gail Uzzell, 67, of Goldsboro, passed away Thursday, March 20, 2014, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Glenda was born April 24, 1946, in Wayne County to the late Richard and Alice Mae Hines Uzzell. Glenda enjoyed walking on a beautiful day, shopping for a new pocketbook and, most of all, she cherished time spent with her family.
A graveside service will be held Sunday, March 23, 2014, at 3 p.m. from Fairview Cemetery, with pastor Fred Crank officiating.
Glenda is survived by two brothers, Malcolm Uzzell and wife, Ann, and David Uzzell and wife, Peggy, of Goldsboro; sister, Jeanette Hyde and husband, Robert, of Goldsboro; two sisters-in-law, Louise Cooper Uzzell of Burgaw and Helen D. Uzzell of Goldsboro; and three nephews and two nieces. In addition to her parents, Glenda was preceded in death by four brothers, Richard Uzzell Jr., Marvin Uzzell, Milton Uzzell and Theodore Uzzell; and nine half-siblings, Robert Lee Uzzell, Bennie Uzzell, Prentice Uzzell, Preston Uzzell, Raymond Uzzell, John William Uzzell, Pauline Thomas, Emma Frances Jones and Penny Ruth Thompson.
The family will receive friends Sunday following the graveside service and at other times they will be at the home of Mr. and Mrs. David Uzzell, 450 Uzzell Road, Goldsboro. Online condolences may be expressed at www.rousefh.com. Arrangements are with Rouse Funeral Home, LaGrange.
