Chester Lee Canady, 91, died Monday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Funeral will be Monday at 11 a.m. at New Greenleaf Church of Christ, with Elder Dr. Dorothy Heath. Burial will be in Old Mill Cemetery.
He was born Dec. 10, 1922, in Pantego in Beaufort County to Golden and Lina Reddick Canady.
Visitation will be Monday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church.
The family will receive friends at 215 Shaw Court, where it will assemble for the funeral procession.
Arrangements are by J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations.
