Arnold Gaitan DuBois, 68, Faison, died at Kitty Askins Hospice Center Monday, March 3, after a long illness.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Joseph and Myrtle Blackwell DuBois, and his beloved dog, Petey.
He was survived by his wife of 33 years, Sharon Williams DuBois, and a sister, Ruth Robinson and husband, Donald, of Goldsboro.
He is also survived by three sons, Arnold Dubois Jr. and friend, Todd Kymer, Paul DuBois and wife, Beth, and Travis DuBois and wife, Shannon; daughter, Wanda DuBois; and stepson, Donald Oates Jr. and wife, Kristy.
He also had five grandchildren, Josh Davis, Cindle DuBois, Paula DuBois, Bradley DuBois and Austin DuBois; three stepgrandchildren Adam, Autumn and Cameron Edwards; and two great-grandchildren, Jayden and Camden Carter.
A memorial service and visitation will be held Friday, March 7, at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Kitty Askins Hospice Center or the ASPCA.
