PIKEVILLE -- Roger Eugene Best, 67, 478 Artis Road, died Tuesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
He was born July 2, 1946, to Henry Lee Best and Gertie Mae Artis Best in Wayne County.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the James T. Haskins Memorial Chapel of Haskins Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Diggs Cemetery in Eureka.
He is survived by his mother, Gertie Mae Artis Best of the home, and a sister, Ethelene Best Barnes and husband, Leroy.
Visitation will be Friday from 2 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home. The family will receive friends at the residence, where it will assemble in preparation for the funeral procession.
