Rosa Lee Coley Thompson, 80, Goldsboro, N.C., passed away at Wayne Memorial Hospital Friday, Dec. 13, 2013.
She was the daughter of the late Isaac Sutton and the late Mr. and Mrs. Cleveland Hamilton.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles W. Thompson, and sons, Michael and Delmus Thompson.
She is survived by four children, Donise Thompson of Goldsboro, three sons, Marshall Thompson of Goldsboro, Travis Thompson of Kinston, N.C., and Dexter Thompson of Tampa, Fla.; six brothers; six sisters; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
The wake will be held at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Tuesday, Dec. 17, from 2 to 7 p.m.
The family will be in attendance from 6 to 7 p.m.
The funeral will be held Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2013, at 11 a.m. at Best Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 1065 Tommy's road, Goldsboro, N.C., 27530, with the Rev. Ralph Johnson presiding.
The family will receive friends and family at 124 Orbit Road, Goldsboro, N.C., 27530.
