Annie "Edna" Williams Pate, 75, 205 Daisy St., Goldsboro, died Friday, Oct. 4, 2013, at Duke University Medical Center.
She was born Sept. 23, 1938, in Wayne County.
A sweet spirit, her life and service to God and mankind will be celebrated Thursday 11 a.m. at Goldsboro Chapel Free Will Baptist Church. The Rev James Collins will officiate.
Her mortal frame will be laid to rest in Elmwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 2 to 7 p.m., with the family present to receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m., at Haskins Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at other times at the residence, where it will also assemble in preparation for the funeral procession.
