MOUNT OLIVE -- Alice James Smith, 81, 1765 Summerlin Cross Road, died Sunday at home.
Funeral will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Elder Chapel AME Zion Church, with elder Bobby Lamb officiating. Burial will be in Maxwell Cemetery.
Born in Duplin County, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Eugenia Carroll James.
A daughter survives.
Visitation will be today from 4 to 7 p.m. at Garris Funeral Home chapel, with the family present from 6 to 7 p.m. At other times the family will receive friends at the home.
Arrangements are by Garris Funeral Home.
