FREMONT -- Willard J. Ballance, 75, died Friday, July 12, 2013, at home surrounded by his family.
Funeral is 3 p.m. Sunday at Fremont United Methodist Church, and will be conducted by the Rev. Dede Britt and assisted by the Rev. Lindsay Ballance Collins and Daniel Collins. Interment will follow at Ballance Family Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the home following the interment.
Willard is survived by his wife, Eleanor Mooring Ballance; daughters, Faye Davis (Frankie) of Fremont and Elizabeth Rose (Todd) of Eureka; son, Todd Ballance (Deborah) of Fremont; grandchildren, Lindsay Collins (Daniel), Brittany Schroeder (Robert), Katlyn Ballance (Eric Schmidt), Landry Ballance, Brandon Davis (Kali and great-granddaughter, Peyton), Morgan Davis (Shawn Bomar), Anna Rose and Amber Rose; and sisters, Ruby Buck of Fremont, Rena Faircloth of Goldsboro and Myrtle Braswell of Salisbury.
