ANDRE M. JENNETTE

TRENTON -- Mr. Andre M. Jennette, 64, was lovingly known by his family and friends as "Slowmotion," 1362 Old Comfort Road, Trenton, N.C., departed his earthly life Tuesday, July 9, 2013, at Premier Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Jacksonville, N.C.
Andre was born in Wayne County, N.C., Dec. 3, 1948, to the late Mr. Malachi Jennette and Mrs. Bertha Strickland Jennette.
He received his education in the public schools of Wayne County.
Mr. Jennette served his country by enlisting in two branches of the military services. He served in the United States Army and also, he served in the United States Air Force.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Dontelius Hardy.
Visitation and private viewing will be held Saturday, July 13, 2013, from 9 to 11 a.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home and Chapel, 900 S. George St., Goldsboro, N.C.
Mr. Jennette leaves to cherish his loving and precious memories his loving wife, Carol LaRoe Jennette; four children, Andre Jennette Jr., Brenda Lewis, Christeena Randles and Billy LaRoe; seven grandchildren; two sisters, Evelyn G. Alston and Pam Harper; two brothers, Dwight Jennette and Mack Jennette; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.
