MOUNT OLIVE -- Little Miss Kelsey Rena Davidson, 5 years old, Mount Olive, passed away in the early morning hours of Saturday, May 18, 2013, at Vidant Medical Center following a tractor-truck accident the evening before, which also claimed the life of her grandfather, Terry G. Lee.

Kelsey now sweetly rests in the loving arms of Jesus as she enjoys the beauty and splendor of heaven.

Kelsey, who attended the pre-kindergarten program at Carver Elementary School for this school year, will be remembered as being a vivacious little girl. Her broad smile and sharp dimples would win the hearts of all.

She loved the outdoors, looking at and picking pretty flowers and playing with lady bugs. She also enjoyed little girl things like dressing up, playing with makeup and painting her finger nails with pretty, bright colors.

Kelsey is survived by her mother, Jennifer Holmes Davidson and her significant other, Deborah Price; her father, Scottie Davidson and his fiancee´, Christy Adams; a sister, Skyler Nicole Davidson; a brother, Nicholas Scott Davidson; a stepbrother, Shawn Adams; her maternal grandparents, Teresa Arnette Lee and Rickie Holmes; paternal grandparents, Ray and Jan Davis Davidson; maternal great-grandmothers, Edna Smith Arnette and Clara Belle Brock Holmes all from Mount Olive; paternal great-grandmothers, Edna Sloan Davis of Calypso and Betty Darden Davidson Hall of Pine Mountain, Ga.; stepgreat-grandparents, Nelson and Carolyn Murphy Lee of Mount Olive; two uncles, Dean Holmes of Mount Olive and Brandon Davidson of Raleigh; and many great-aunts and uncles and cousins.

Services to celebrate her life, along with that of her grandfather, will be Thursday, May 23, at 7 p.m. at Mount Olive First Pentecostal Holiness Church, with the Rev. Jeff Dail and Mr. Jerry Boone officiating.

Visitation will follow in the fellowship hall of the church.

Family and friends are also being received at the home of her grandmother, Teresa Lee on Baker's Chapel Church Road, and at the home of her Davidson grandparents, 1406 N. Breazeale Ave. in Mount Olive.

Interment will be Friday, May 24, at 11 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park, following a committal service.

Flowers are welcome, and for anyone wishing to contribute to the funeral home to assist with expenses, that would be appreciated too.

A Tyndall service.
