Ms. Mary L. Holmes departed her earthly life Thursday, May 9, 2013, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro.
Mary was born Dec. 22, 1932, to the late Graham Holmes and Bessie Wright Holmes.
She is survived by two sisters, Esther Williams and Bertha Holmes of Goldsboro, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. in the Life Celebration Chapel at the funeral home. Interment will be held at Old Mill Cemetery.
The family will be receiving friends at 1707 N. William St.
Arrangements are being handled by Matthews Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
