Connie Anderson Best, 63, passed away Tuesday afternoon at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Born in Sampson County, she was the daughter of Willard and Marie Sutton Anderson of Dudley.
A service to celebrate her life will be held Thursday evening at 6 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held Friday morning at 11 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park.
The family will greet friends Thursday evening at the funeral home immediately following the service.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Best is survived by her husband, Sherman Best; her children, Toni and David Fry, Sherrill Best and Michael and Lindsay Best; her brothers, Wayne Anderson, Steve Anderson, Mark and Debbie Anderson and Clark Anderson; sisters, Willa and Joe Austin, Daryl and David Cartledge and Vicky and Tom Pigford; and her grandchildren, Ethan, Sunnie and Kelsey Best.
