MARTHA ELLEN LOVELACE GRIMES

Martha Ellen Lovelace Grimes, 75, passed peacefully into that far better life with her Lord and savior and with those beloved family who went on before, while surrounded by her family.
Martha was born in Sullivan County, Tenn., to the late Andrew D. and Grace Snyder Lovelace. She was married to the late Allen Ray Grimes.
Martha worked as a respiratory therapist at Wayne Memorial Hospital, and retired after 34 years of service without ever missing a day of work.
She was a wonderful wife, loving mother and mema to her loved ones. Martha will always be loved by her children, and will be greatly missed by those who knew her.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013, at St. Paul United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Jim Harry officiating. Entombment will follow at Wayne Memorial Park.
Martha is survived by her daughters, Missy Grimes Zwerling and husband, Dr. Charles Zwerling, of Goldsboro and Linda G. Giuliani and husband, Mike, of Goldsboro; son, William Allen Grimes of Goldsboro; grandchildren, Allen Ray Grimes II and Krissy, Ashlee Ehnert, Stacy Sherman and husband, Brandon, Sara Guiliani, Joey Giuliani, Danny Giuliani, Alexis Zwerling and Tiffany Thomas and husband, Chris; and great-grandchildren, Ethan, Dylan, Justin, Peyton, Brianna, Kaylin, Charlee and Haylee.
She is also survived by her brothers, Bob Lovelace and Ronnie Lovelace of Bristol, Tenn., and special friend, Craig Anderson.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home, and other times at 303 Tonya Drive, Goldsboro.
Flowers are welcome or memorials may be given in her memory to the Ronald McDonald House.
