Elmer Weber Lewis, 87, passed early Monday morning at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Born in Duplin County, she was the daughter of the late George Raymond Weber and Magdaline Smith Weber.
She was a member of Northeast Original Free Will Baptist Church.
A service to celebrate her life will be held by the graveside Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park, with the Rev. Richard Cuddington officiating.
The family will greet friends Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home.
Mrs. Lewis is survived by her husband, Perry Lewis; three sons, George "Butch" Lewis and wife, Mary Dell, Richard "Skippy" Lewis and wife, Judy, and Steve Lewis and wife, Emma Kay all of Mount Olive; a brother, Steve Weber and wife, Edna of Goldsboro; five grandchildren, Shelton Lewis and wife, Lisa, Duane Lewis and wife, Jennifer, Scott Lewis and wife, Missy, Stevie Lewis and fiancée, Sara McClure, and Stephanie Lewis West and husband, Bert; and five great-grandchildren, Justin Lewis, Garrett Lewis, Carter Lewis, Matthew Lewis and Sara Kathryn Lewis.
