Judith Best Grady, 66, died early Thursday morning.
Born in Wayne County, she was the daughter of the late William and Lottie Davis Best, and sister of the late Woody Best.
At Judith's request, no formal funeral services will be held.
The family will greet friends Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the home of her son, Cliff Best, 103 College Circle, Mount Olive.
She is survived by her husband, Bennie Grady; her sons, Cliff and Charlie Best; a brother, Richard Best; and five grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests monetary donations to offset funeral expenses be directed to Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home, P.O. Box 167, Goldsboro, N.C., 27533.
