LAGRANGE--E Marine Kincaid Jr., 77, died Sat., Nov. 24, 2012. He was born Sept. 26, 1935 in Kincaid, West Virginia to the late Ed Marine Kincaid Sr. and Obie Mooney Kincaid. Marine was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Taylor Kincaid. He served his country proudly in the United States Air Force for 20 years retiring as a master sergeant in 1974. Marine later worked for the Department of Social Services as a case worker for 17 years. He was a member of Neuse Baptist Church, Kinston. Marine was a member of the Air Force Sergeants Association, a supporter of Friends of Israel and enjoyed fishing.
A service of remembrance will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. from Rouse Funeral Home with Rev. Greg Kincaid officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, LaGrange.
Marine is survived by five children, Terry Marine Kincaid of LaGrange, Gregory Alan Kincaid and wife, Carla of Goldsboro, Anthony Dale Kincaid and wife, Teresa of LaGrange, Linda Kincaid Newsome and husband, Johnny of Goldsboro, Stephanie Ellen Fox and husband, Tony of Greenville; three siblings, Jerry Kincaid of Tennessee, Leslie Kincaid of Tennessee and Lori Sue Samples of West Virginia; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 1-2 p.m. at Rouse Funeral Home and at other times they will be at the home. Online condolences may be expressed at www.rousefh.com.
