FAISON -- Patsy Tyson Byrd, 65, of Fletcher St., died suddenly at her home on Friday evening, Nov. 23, 2012.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, Nov. 26, at 2 p.m., at Faison United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jabe Largen officiating. Burial will follow at Faison Cemetery. The family will receive friends today, Nov. 25, at the Tyndall Funeral Home from 4 until 6 p.m., and at other times at the Byrd residence in Faison. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Faison United Methodist Church, c/o Cathy Warren P.O. Box 417 Faison, NC 28341.
She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Byrd, of the home; and a son, Jeff Byrd and his wife, Carolyn; and two grandchildren, Brady and Tyson Byrd, all of Faison. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest Tyson and Christine Tew Tyson.
