JHUE PRIDGEN

Jhue Pridgen was born Feb. 11, 1936, to the late Milton and Lydia Taylor Pridgen. He departed this earthly life to ascend into glory Oct. 30, 2012.
He is preceded in death by his only loving daughter, Sandra Pridgen Houston.
Jhue leaves to cherish his loving memories is his wife of "52" years, Shirley Gray Pridgen of the home, three sons, Apostle Ricky (Gladys) Pridgen of LaGrange, N.C.; Christopher Pridgen of the home; First Sergeant (Ret.) Michael (Linda) Pridgen of Columbia, S.C.; 11 grandchildren, Keosha Houston, Erica Pridgen, Jasmine Pridgen, Marcus Pridgen, Tyrick Kornegay, Jeremy Pridgen, Brandon Pridgen, Ariel Pridgen, Alicia Pridgen, Destiny Pridgen and Othan Gaitor; two sisters; Dorothy (Patrick) Joyner of LaGrange, N.C., Estella (John) Grant of LaGrange, N.C.; one sister-in-law, Mary (Richard) Lippman of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; one brother-in-law, John (Joann) Roundtree of Snow Hill, N.C.; two aunts, Wilhelmina Edwards of Bowie, Md.; Lucille Whitley of Goldsboro; a very devoted niece (like his daughter) Tanya Roundtree Wright of Greenville, N.C.; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A visitation will be held on Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lovicks Chapel Church in LaGrange, N.C. A service of remembrance will be held on Sunday at 2 p.m. at Christian Fellowship Center, 420 Browntown Road, Snow Hill.
Immediately following the services in the sanctuary, Mr. Pridgen and his adored family will be escorted by E.M. Matthews Angelic White Fleet to Snow Hill Cemetery for interment rites.
Mr. Pridgen and the Pridgen family is in the care at E.M. Matthews Funeral Home and Cremation Inc.
