PRINCETON -- Roosevelt Silver, 84, of 110 Hudson Drive died Sunday at Willow Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Goldsboro.
Roosevelt was born in Nash County on July 9, 1928, to the late Mr. Dorsey Silver and the late Mrs. Mary Thorne Silver.
Funeral service will be Saturday at 3 p.m. at The Life Church, 219 W. Walnut St., Goldsboro. Apostle Lester E. Sawyer will officiate. A public viewing will be held Friday at McIntyre Funeral Home, 900 S. George St., from 2 to 6 p.m. The family will receive friends from 5 to 6 p.m.
At other times, the family will receive friends at the residence of Mrs. Julia Silver, 110 Hudson Drive, Princeton, where the family and friends will assemble, one hour prior, at 1:50 p.m. in preparation for the funeral procession.
