DUDLEY -- Wilbert Filmore "Bill" Jones, 71, died Sunday, Oct. 14, 2012.
A memorial gathering for family and friends will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 18, on the lawn of his residence at 3842 U.S. 117 South Alternate, Dudley (across from May's Chapel Church). Pastor Kelvin Gurley will preside.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Whitfield Kelly Jones; his parents, Reba Small Jones and Wilbert Oliver "Pete" Jones; and a brother, David Jones.
Bill is survived by his brother, Timothy "Timbo" Jones of Albertson.
Known as "Pa" to the Kelly family, he is also survived by his stepchildren, Jean Kelly, Joyce Jernigan, Sue Kelly, Bruce Kelly and Danny Kelly all of Mount Olive, and Walter James Kelly Jr. of Seven Springs; and many grandchildren.
