Virginia Shephard "Nat" Beamon, 85, died Monday, Aug. 13, 2012.
The funeral will be held Saturday 1 p.m. at Contending for the Faith Church, 1006 Academy St., Wilson. Elder Deloise Waddell will officiate. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery, Wilson.
Precious memories are forever cherished by her daughters, Jacqueline Simms (Edgar) of Stantonsburg and Cynthia Beamon of Wilson; her sons, Jasper and Linwood Beamon of Goldsboro, Robert Beaman (Stephanie) of Smithfield and Alton Beaman (Shirley) of Fort Washington, Md.; a brother, Willie David Shephard of Huntsville Md.; and a host of relatives and friends.
A viewing will be held Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Carrons Funeral Home, 325 Nash St., Wilson.
The family will receive friends at 213 Pittman Drive, Wilson, and will assemble there one hour prior to service in preparation for the funeral procession.
