Charles F. Wester, 85, passed away Wednesday at home.
Funeral services for Mr. Wester will be held Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2012, at 11 a.m. at Elm Grove Disciple of Christ Church at 118 N.W. Booker St., Pikeville. Burial will follow at Wayne Memorial Park North, Old Grantham Road. A public viewing will be held at Hamilton Funeral Chapel on Monday, Aug. 13, from 2 until 8 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 7 until 8 p.m. Family and friends will assemble at 105 Keith Hills Court, Princeton, on Tuesday at 9:45 a.m. in preparation for the funeral.
Left to cherish his memory are two daughters, RoxAnn Young (Willie) of the home, Robin Wester of Illinois; two sons, Lawrence Wester (Patricia), Richard Wester (Evelyn) of Illinois; a daughter-in-law, Connie Kornegay of Goldsboro; a sister-in-law, Shirley K. Sykes of Goldsboro; a brother-in-law, James Kornegay of Jamaica, N.Y.; 27 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
