Donald Cecil "Tootie" Walker, 80, of Wilson, died Thursday.
Funeral services were conducted on Saturday at Joyner's Funeral Home. Interment followed at Maplewood Cemetery, with the Rev. David Kriger officiating.
Don is survived by his wife, Stella Flowers Walker; two children and two stepchildren and wives, 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gideon Claude Walker and Ethel Burch Walker.
Don served his country with honor during the Korean War while in the Navy. He was awarded the National Defense Service Ribbon, Navy Occupation Medal, Korean Service Ribbon and United Nations Ribbon.
