Ms. Barbara J. Mims, 47, 1205 S. Andrews Ave., died Sunday morning, July 29, 2012, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro.
A memorial celebration will be held Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2012, at 1 p.m. at Northeast Chapel Free Will Baptist Church, James Street Ext., Mount Olive, with Dr. Everlena Oliver as eulogist.
Barbara was born Aug. 14, 1964, in Duplin County to pastor Janice P. Williams and David F. Williams.
She is survived by her parents and two sons, Carlos Mims Jr. and Keanan J. Mims of Greensboro.
A final sympathetic and dignified service was entrusted to J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, N.C.
