EDWARD ARNOLD SUTTON
April 11, 1957-May 28, 2012
Edward Arnold Sutton, better known to his family and friends as "Head," passed away Monday, May 28, 2012, at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
He was born April 11, 1957, to Edward Carraway and Sylvia M. Sutton.
He is survived by his wife, Linda "Lou" Sutton of the home; three daughters, Shanetta S. Whisonant, Lashonda Sutton and Zaniyah Sutton all of Goldsboro; four sisters, Verna Sutton, Gail Morgan and Emma Sutton all of LaGrange and Cynthia Joyner of Kinston; and two brothers, Maurice Joyner of Kinston and Edward Joyner of Greenville.
A visitation will be held Saturday from 4 to 7 p.m. at E.M. Matthews Funeral Home.
A celebration of life will be held Sunday at noon at St. Matthews Free Will Baptist Church, 2758 Jenny Lind Road, LaGrange.
Following the services in the sanctuary, Mr. Sutton's delicate temple, along with his adored family, will be escorted by E.M. Matthews' angelic white fleet to Sutton Family Cemetery for interment rites.
Mr. Sutton and the Sutton family are in the hallmark of care at E.M. Matthews Funeral Home.
