LaGRANGE -- Frances Byrd Harrison, 101, died Wednesday.
A service of remembrance will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints, Kinston with Bishop Rich Jarman officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
Mrs. Harrison was born in Institute to the late George Allen Byrd Sr. and Alice Fields Byrd. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leamon Wilson Harrison Sr. Four children survive.
The family will receive friends Friday from 6 until 8 p.m. at Rouse Funeral Home and from 1 until 2 p.m. Saturday at the church.
