Snoe Hosey Briggs, 82, died Monday night at Onslow Memorial Hospital.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Born in Hope, Ark., she was the daughter of the late Noland Hosey and Pearl May Hosey, and wife of the late Jesse Briggs.
She is survived by two children.
Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the Briggs family.
