Mrs. Frances Greene Coley, 72, 316 Fedelon Trail, was called home Sunday, Nov. 27, 2011, at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Goldsboro.
A service of celebration will be held Sunday, Dec. 4, 2011, at 1 p.m. at Little Rock Disciples Church, N.C. 581, Pikeville, with the Rev. David Williams officiating. She will be laid to rest at Wayne Memorial Park South, U.S. 117 South, Dudley.
Public visitation will be held Saturday, Dec. 3, 2011, at Hamilton Funeral Chapel, 423 S. James St., Goldsboro, from 1 to 8 p.m., with the family receiving friends from 7 to 8 p.m.
Family and friends will assemble at the residence Sunday, at 11:30 a.m. to arrange for the processional.
She is survived by her children, Gary (Diane) Green and Richard Green all of Goldsboro, Annette (Greg) Artis of Pikeville, Anthony Green and Jackie (Darrell) Reid all of Goldsboro, and James Coley and Janice Green (Danny Wells) both of Goldsboro; 19 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; a brother, Lawrence (Margie) Greene of Goldsboro; two sisters, Lois (Ben) Reid and Mary (Thomas) both of Pikeville; four sisters-in-law, Barbara Green and Doris (Devon) Ward both of Goldsboro, Elaine (Gilbert) McGregor of Raeford and Rose Green of Brooklyn, N.Y.; a brother-in-law, Jimmy (Martha) Coley of Petersburg, Va.; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends; special grandchildren of the home, Jamel Sharpless and Sa'Quan Coley; and a special friend, Shirley Terry of Queens, N.Y.
Services have been entrusted to Hamilton Funeral Chapel, 423 S. James St., Goldsboro.
