FREMONT -- Daphne Barnes Fulkerson, 88, died Thursday, Dec. 1, 2011.
Funeral will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Elmwood Cemetery (new section).
The family will then move immediately to Fremont Missionary Baptist Church for a time of visiting and sharing.
Surviving are her daughter, Brenda F. Bowie (Jim) of Fremont; son, Michael Fulkerson (Wilma) of Scotland Neck; grandchildren, Jenna Bowie, Mark Bowie (Erin) and Troy (Judy) Fulkerson; great-grandchildren, Lauren, Katy and Jimmy Fulkerson and Brent Bowie; and sisters, Ruby Brown of Fremont and Marjorie Singleton of Portsmouth, Va.
Preceding her in death were her husband, James F. Fulkerson, in 2007, and sisters, Dixie Edmundson and Ladell Pate.
