Louise Virginia Blume Setzer, 97, passed away Sunday, Aug. 21, 2011, at Willow Creek Nursing Home.
Louise was born in Columbia, S.C., Feb. 8, 1914, to the late John William Blume and Willie Alsie Stewart Blume.
She lived in Goldsboro, N.C., but was formerly from Elizabeth City, N.C.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Aug. 26, 2011, at 2 p.m. at Twiford Funeral Home in Elizabeth City. Interment will follow at Westlawn Memorial Park in Elizabeth City, N.C.
Louise is survived by her son, Joseph Eli Setzer Jr. and wife, Pat, of Goldsboro; her nephew, Stanley Hutchison Hughey and wife, Sandra, of Burlington; her grandchildren, Catherine Setzer Sherrill and husband, Kevin, and Paige Setzer Rielly and husband, Sean; and her grandniece, Michelle Hughey Patterson and husband, Jack, and their son, Hunter.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Eli Setzer; her sisters, Florence Blume Hughey and Ethel Blume Rabb; and her brothers, John William Blume Jr. and Edward Stewart Blume.
