Virgie Pierce Rowe, 96, of Kenly, died Thursday at Wilson Medical Center.
The family will receive friends from 1:45 until 2:45 p.m. today at Minshew-Coley Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 3 p.m. at Minshew-Coley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Terry Ellis officiating. She will be laid to rest in Rains Crossroads Original Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery.
Born to the late Eddie and Mary Richardson Pierce in Johnston County, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Rowe.
Three children survive.
