ROSA B. JOHNSON

Rosa B. Johnson, 97, 312 E. New Hope Road, Apt. H., passed from labor to reward Tuesday morning at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
She was born July 19, 1914, to the late Robert and Mozella Coston Brown.
Mother Johnson was preceded in the silent halls of death by her beloved husband, Jacob Woodley, and a daughter, Hazel Woodley.
Her life and legacy will be celebrated Saturday at 11 a.m. at Upper Room Church of Deliverance. Her grandson, bishop James Woodley will officiate. Her mortal frame will be laid to rest at Wayne Memorial Park.
Beautiful memories are left to her son, Walter Johnson of Virginia Beach, Va.; her grandchildren, bishop James Woodley and Janice Woodley of Goldsboro and Ronald Johnson of Hampton, Va.; sister, Mildred Davis of Goldsboro; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Friday from 2 to 6 p.m. at Haskins Funeral Home, 601 E. Ash St.
