MARILYN C. LUTZ

Marilyn Clarkson Lutz, 55, passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2011, at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Marilyn was born in Omaha, Neb., Jan. 25, 1956, to Kenneth Edward Clarkson Sr. and Nada Ellison Clarkson.
She was a 1974 graduate of Eastern Wayne High School.
Marilyn worked in pricing at Target since it opened.
Funeral services will be held Monday, July 25, 2011, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home, with the Rev. Todd Wiggins and the Rev. Ted Manby officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
Marilyn is survived by her husband, Eddie Lutz; her children, Kelly Townsend of Goldsboro and Katherine Bridgers and husband, Adam, of Kenly; her brothers, Kenneth E. Clarkson Jr. and wife, Debra, of Clayton and Richard M. Clarkson and wife, Charlene, of Goldsboro; her nieces, Candace, Caroline, Cynthia and Rebecca Clarkson; her mother-in-law, Jean Lutz of Goldsboro; her sisters-in law, Shirley Veith and husband, Dick, Gretchen Claimont, Mary Kirby and Cathy Lutz; her brother-in-law, Jim Lutz and wife, Grace; her numerous cousins; and dear friends, David and Bonnie Strickland and Karen Swisher.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her grandparents, Newt and Anna Mary Ellison of Tiprell, Tenn., and Joseph and Eva Clarkson of Middlesboro, Ky.; her father-in-law, Thomas Lutz of Goldsboro; and her brothers-in-law, Al Clairmont and Bill Lutz.
The family will receive friends Sunday, July 24, 2011, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home, and other times at the home of the parents at 3714 Commercial Drive, Goldsboro.
