CHERRY LEIGH MCLEOD NGAMTHONGLOR

Cherry Leigh McLeod Ngamthonglor, 51, passed away Saturday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Born in Harnett County, she was the daughter of Arelina N. McLeod of Dunn, N.C., and the late James W. McLeod.
A celebration of life service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home, with Pastor Randy Beasley officiating.
The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
She is survived by her husband, Chakorn Ot Ngamthonglor of Goldsboro, N.C.; a son, Justin Ot Ngamthonglor of Playa Del Rey, Calif.; two daughters, Autumn Ngamthonglor Mills of Greenville, N.C., and Ashley Kay Ngamthonglor of Wilmington, N.C.; two granddaughters, Aria Locke Mills and Castle Hart Mills of Greenville, N.C.; brothers, Mitchell McLeod of Dunn, N.C., and Shawn McLeod of Dunn, N.C.; sisters, Rebecca Jones of Dunn, N.C., Rhonda Skipper of Coats, N.C., and Jean Johnson of Kernersville, N.C.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy W. McLeod.
All of Cherry's family appreciate everyone who has said prayers and rendered acts of kindness and concern. A heartfelt thank you is given.
