MOUNT OLIVE -- Nedje Sullivan Brock, 79, of 1194 Beautancus Road, died early Friday, June 10, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Graveside services will be held at Wayne Memorial Park on Tuesday, June 14, at 11 a.m., with Dr. Harry Soucy officiating. The family will receive friends at Tyndall Funeral Home on Monday, June 13, from 7 until 8:30 p.m., and at other times at the residence.
Mrs. Brock, a member of Salem Advent Christian Church in Mount Olive, was retired from the former Medical Park Nursing Center where she was activities coordinator.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Darlene B. Grantham; her parents, Epsy Sullivan and Helen Jernigan Sullivan; and two brothers, Waldo Sullivan and Epsy Sullivan Jr. She is survived by her husband, Jasper L. "Buddy" Brock of the home; a son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Susan Brock of Goldsboro; two daughters and a son-in-law, Melba Brock of Mount Olive, and Janet B. and Charley Pippin of LaGrange; another son-in-law, Garry Grantham of Goldsboro; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Flowers are welcome, or memorial gifts may be directed to Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
