SMITHFIELD -- Stephen Joshua "Josh" Best, 19, died Saturday, March 19, 2011, from injuries received in an automobile accident.
Born June 28, 1991, in Benson, N.C., he was graduated from Johnston County Middle College with the class of 2009. Josh had enrolled in Johnston Community College, and was helping his father at D&D Body Shop in Smithfield.
He was a member of Sardis Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be conducted at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service. The burial will take place at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery.
Surviving are his parents, Steve and Janie Massengill Best of Smithfield.
