Doris Barwick Evans, 77, Hill Circle Drive, passed away Saturday, March 19, 2011, at Rex Hospital in Raleigh.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 22, 2011, at 6 p.m. from the chapel of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro, with visitation afterwards. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, March 23, 2011, at 11 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park.
She is survived by her son, Ricky Grady and wife, Sandra, of Goldsboro; two daughters, Lagray Wells and husband, Charles, of Cary and Brenda Smith of Goldsboro; two brothers, Lewis B. Barwick and wife, Joyce, of Kinston and John Henry Barwick Jr. of Seven Springs; stepbrother, Charles Mozingo of Mount Olive; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John Henry Barwick and Eula Garner Barwick; her stepmother, Kathleen Barwick; stepsister, Roseleen Nethkin; and her grandson, Rusty Herring.
