PEGGY STEWART DAVIS

Peggy Stewart Davis, 76, 514 N. Claiborne St., passed away Saturday, Feb. 26, 2011, at Wayne Memorial Hospital surrounded by her family.
Peggy was born in Johnston County Dec. 5, 1934, to the late Johnny Stewart and Hilma Croom.
Peggy was a member of First Baptist Church.
Peggy retired from APV Baker after many years of service in the print room.
Memorial services will be held Wednesday, March 2, 2011, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home, with the Rev. Johnny Sasser officiating.
Peggy is survived by her daughter, Phyllis Sikes of Florence, S.C.; her brother, Jerry D. Stewart and wife, Catherine, of Wilmington, N.C.; her grandson, Matthew Friedel and wife, Jeannie, of Central, S.C.; and special friends, Ron Edmark, Marianna Elliott, Peggy Luna and Jean Kauff all of Goldsboro.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, John Richard "Dickie" Davis, and her sister, Betsy Bray.

The family will receive friends Wednesday beginning at 1 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home.
